Bumblelion is the brave leader of the group. He has the front half of a lion and the back half of a bumblebee, including wings which enable him to fly. He has a very strong sense of justice and devotes himself to doing good deeds. He speaks with a slight lisp.

Bumblelion is generally the most sensible and reliable member of the Wuzzles. His best friend is Eleroo, and the two of them often work together on tasks.

Butterbear is the motherly figure of the group. She has the head and body of a bear and the wings and antennae of a butterfly. She is very sweet-natured and loves to bake and take care of her garden.

Butterbear often mediates conflicts between the others and is always ready with a hug and a snack for anyone who is feeling down. She lives in a large tree house filled with warm, comfortable furniture.

Eleroo has the head and trunk of an elephant and the body and pouch of a kangaroo. He uses his trunk for various tasks and keeps many useful objects in his pouch, which seems to be able to hold an endless amount of items.

Eleroo is somewhat clumsy but always eager to help his friends. He often accidentally knocks things over with his trunk or while hopping around. Despite his clumsiness, he's an essential member of the group.

Moosel is a combination of a moose and a seal. He has a moose's antlers and a seal's flippers and tail. He tends to be pessimistic and often expects the worst outcome in any situation.

Despite his pessimism, Moosel is actually quite dependable and comes through for his friends when they need him. He's an excellent swimmer due to his seal half and is good at fixing things around the Wuzzles' homes.

Hoppopotamus (often called "Hoppo") is part rabbit and part hippopotamus. She has the ears and quick movements of a rabbit along with the face and body of a hippo. She is very athletic and loves to jump and dance.

Hoppo is also musically talented and often sings or plays instruments. She is very image-conscious and loves to look her best at all times. Hoppo has a crush on Bumblelion, though it's unclear if he returns her feelings.

Rhinokey is a rhinoceros/monkey hybrid with a rhino's horn and a monkey's tail and climbing abilities. He is the comedian of the group and loves to play practical jokes on his friends.

While his pranks sometimes get him and others into trouble, Rhinokey's heart is in the right place, and he's always ready to apologize when a joke goes too far. He's very agile and can often be found swinging from trees or climbing buildings.
